St Ivan Chapel
Named after the patron saint of doctors – St Ivan – the functioning chapel of the House serves as both a reminder of both Bulgaria’s national pride and the endurance of the Christian faith. The small stone temple has been beautifully painted by young and talented icon-painters, while the intricately carved iconostasis is the work of the Tryvna-born master wood-carver, Usta Darin. Anyone is welcome to visit it, light a candle, say a prayer, enter into matrimony or baptise their child there...
