The Doctor's House - take time for a real vacation!
If you want to experience Sozopol you have to immerse yourself in the city’s old part – with its vast sea, its souk-like cobbled streets, wood-clad houses and coastal rocks that had been painted a light-brown by the sea salt. Perched on one such rock, known to the locals as Kaghelli (or the ‘hanger’ from Greek) because of its bizarre shape, you will find the Doctor’s House.
This beautiful wood-clad building with large French windows and spacious balconies stands right above the gate to the once Greek police Apollonia (present-day Sozopol). The Doctor’s House deftly combines the artistic spirit of ‘the City of Salvation’ and the comforts of modernity. Relaxation here is no longer a ‘lost cause’ – you find yourself amidst the sea expanse, basking in the sun and enjoying the quiet that isoccasionally broken by the seagulls’ squeals or the neighbourly chit-chat. The House’s unique location is but one of its many advantages. Its homely atmosphere, first class service, its restaurant and the picturesque stone chapel „St. Ivan Rilski” right next to it, guarantee you a memorable vacation. The house offers 3 apartments, 1 studio and 8 twin rooms, all of which have a separate bathroom, cable TV, air-conditioning, wireless, a fridge and balconies overlooking the sea. The apartments and the studio are also equipped with a small kitchen. There are 4 parking places for the guests of the House. |
